Any other workarounds to this CMR bug below, besides stopping CDR Insert until a upgrade to 4.2(3) can be done? Seeing this issue where the regsvc.exe service spikes CPU while CDRInsert is trying to insert CMR file which is causing call processing delays, etc. Tried the manual workaround below but the field already exists in the database and table and field properties are correct.

For anyone upgrading from 4.1 to 4.2(1) please be aware of
CSCse68968 CMR files not inserted into DB on upgrade from 4.1 to 4.2
Calldetailrecorddiagnostics did not get updated with a field it requires during upgrade. Workaround:
• Stop insertCDR Service
• Through Enterprise manager or Query analyzer, execute on CDR database
ALTER TABLE CallDetailRecordDiagnostic ADD varVQMetrics varchar(600) DEFAULT NULL NULL
• In CDR file location, move CMR_xxxxxxx files in BAD folder to CMR folder
• Start insertCDR Service
This is only resolved via this manual workaround or with CM 4.2(3) which just posted to Cisco.com tonight.

We are running CCM 4.2(1)sr1b and Cisco Unity 4.0(5), and we are not expericen any problems at all.
The only problem we found now were on the upgrade to 4.2(1)sr1b, and Cisco Unity did Crash… So a restart after this one, everything worked well again.
And some more problem is the bug in Cisco 7920 with 3.0 and the HLOG function, it doesn’t work at all. The softkey is removed.
And in 2.01 it shows wrong when you have loged in and loged out from a hlog…
I don’t know if it is CCM 4.2, or if it is my setup, but the SIP trunk, after installing CCM 4.2 don’t work very well.
The MRM seems to have some problems, atleast is it what I have localised the problem too.
Is this a problem anyone else has?
If anyone is interrested in the debugs from it, I have them right here.
Hope you got any information that could be valuable for you Duncan .

I was interested in what you all thought were currently the best versions of CCM and Unity from a stability standpoint. We are running CCM 4.13 and Unity 4.04 BTW.
