[cisco-voip] ccmadmin lock-ups

I have regularly had IE lockups and freezes at two different jobs on many different ccm servers connecting from many different clients for the last 2 ½ years. I've just accepted that it is just part of the game. Sometimes I will search for a phone or route pattern and as soon as I click Find the entire browser will just disappear. I thought it may have to do with using the Maxthon browser (tabbed front end for IE), but the same thing happens in IE, Maxthon, and other tabbed IE front ends. I've tried IETab with Firefox as well, but it makes no difference since IE is still being used. It just brings FF down with it.
I will certainly try configure the virus scanner not to scan CiscoWebs and see if that makes a difference. Although it doesn't happen every day it happens often enough to be considered very annoying. I'd say about once or twice a week the browser will lock up on me on average.
Keith

I have the same issue two month back. But for me it was the Virus Scan software on the server I change the software not to scan the web file on the "C:\CiscoWebs" and fix my issue.

I received a new laptop with SP2 and I am having IE lock-ups and having IE close while in ccmadmin. Has anyone else experienced this and found a solution? I have tried a couple versions of java as well with 1.5.0_06-b05 on there currently. I downgraded to this from a newer one because other non-SP2 users are using this without issue. Any help?
