[cisco-voip] simulating h323 gateway

In the past, I've simulated PRI access to the PSTN by cross connecting two 6608 ports and assigning one to the test centre. All in all, it works well.

I'd like to test out H323 in a similar fashion. Is it possible to do something similar with H323? My end result is to test that FAX onramp/offramp TCL application that sends faxes to email addresses.

Could I bypass actual ports altogether and simply point a route pattern on my callmanager to an H323 gateway's IP address and have the dial-peers intercept things properly?
