I'm having a strange problem with a CME 4.03 CUE 2.3.4 installation. The
customer has an ATA with the SCCP load setup as an ephone and connected to
their night ringer. Dialing the ephone dn from another IP phone works fine
(the night ringer rings). Dialing the ata's extension from the CUE AA
however doesn't work. CME thinks the ATA is ringing however. If I do a
show ephone ringing it shows CH1 ringing on the ATA. The red light on the
ATA does not come on though.
Also, if an IP phone is set to forward all calls to the ata's dn, the same
thing happens. Calls from other IP phones forward to the ATA and ring the
overhead speakers but calls through the CUE auto attendant do not. the
caller hears ringback but CME shows the ATA should be ringing.
I'm using ATA030100SCCP040211A for the ATA phone load; which I believe is
the recommended load. I haven't modified the ATA configuration from the
webpage except to disable the second port.
Anyone have any ideas?
