Got it working

You have to prefix the MAC's with SEP, also fill in all the feilds that you want ignored with "#" Then after you apply the BAT update you must Resync LDAP because for some reason the "LASTNAME" gets overwritten with "**LASTNAME**" for everyone you Updated.

Weird

Subject: [cisco-voip] BAT update AD users to control phones

Hello all,

I'm using CM 5.1, with the DIRSYNC/Authenticaiton option turn on so that the CM user database is populated by the customers Active Directory. I'm looking for a way to use BAT to bulk associated phones to users. It seems as though the only way to do this association is when you're actually creating users. In my case the users are already there all I want to do is update them with the Mac Address of the phone they are going to be controlling.

I found this link that seems to be how one would do this, but when I look at the BAT.XLT file it doesn't have a feild for MAC address. http://www.cisco.com/univercd/cc/td/doc/product/voice/c_callmg/5_0/bulk_adm/5_0_4/t04upusr.htm#wp1343134

Thanks Ryno
