[cisco-voip] Attendant Console

We went in the other direction. Our attendant function is distributed among
several staffers, who prefer to work at their own desks. Each one of them
has a period of the day during which they're primarily responsible for
answering incoming calls, but collectively they're responsible for all of
them, all the time. We've installed a separate 7960 at each of their desks
with the 6 incoming lines configured on them. Each line has the "Maximum
Number of Calls" set to 2 (if it's set to 1, they can't forward a call),
with a Busy Trigger value of 1. The primary staffer answers all calls during
her assigned time, but if she is busy with a longish call and another comes
in, the next line rings, and another staffer notices it and handles the
call. It's kind of klutzy, but it works for us and the staffers like it.
Nobody feels absolutely tied to their phone, but (so far) the incoming calls
are usually answered on the 1st ring.
