[cisco-voip] MoH with SRST remote sites

Hi everyone,

 

Just trying to clarify how I should be configuring MoH with SRST sites.

 

I'm running G711 at CCM site, G729 over the WAN and G711 at the remote
sites using MGCP gateways with SRST.

 

I have configured the SRST routers with a MOH filename and a Multicast
address that is the same as the multicast address used on the CCM MoH
server

 

I'm reading the white paper and I see that it states to add another
Region for the MoH server to ensure that G711 is used at the SRST sites.
Is this how it is to be read?

 

I thought the phone would just join the multicast stream provided by the
SRST router. 

 

Am I wrong in thinking that I do not need to create a separate region
for the MoH source (Specifying all other regions as G711)?
