We use a TAM-B to interface from a VG248 into an overhead paging system. Works without a hitch. There are settings on the TAM-B that will help in many situations.

  Subject: [cisco-voip] Bogen TAM-B -> FXO/FXS?

  I've searched through the archives and it almost seems that the Bogen TAM-B can be connected via FXO or FXS (with some limitations depending on the system)?

  I've read that it can be tricky to kill the stream in an FXS or FXO and it just keeps looping. Ultimately we would want to dial a DN and have the system forward DTMF zone code. I'm assuming that this would be dial-peer rules in this configuration? This seems to me to be an FXS configuration.

  Anyone have a TAM-B working in either of these configurations? If so, what are the limitations?

  TIA!
