OK,
I opened a TAC case and found out why it was hosed...
Apparently with CCM5.1, the ATA 186 resets constantly (very quickly) when the second port is not disabled (if there is nothing plugged into it)...

We just dropped an IPT solution into a customer, everything is working fine...
However, the ATA-186s are dropping calls after 20 minutes (we had one call last 30 minutes, but that was the flyer).
CallManager is running 5.1.1b, ATA is SCCP running S/W Version3.02.03(051201A)
This is a deal-breaker for the customer, the ATAs all have conference phones plugged into them.
