I did a Unity 4 to 5 upgrade this weekend too... not too bad...
Upgraded Unity 4.0.4 to Unity 4.2.1, ran DRT, used the platform discs
for the new box, installed 4.2.1, restored and upgraded to 5...
I didn't used to upgrade to 4.2.1, but I do now, after numerous nightmares..
