[cisco-voip] IP Communicator - Losing Audio Connection

Hello All

CCM 4.2(3)
IP Communicator (SoftPhone) Ver 2.1.1.0

Remote users have IP Communicator loaded on their laptops. They connect
to our network over VPN. Then launch the IP Comm. to connect to our CCM
cluster.

Users are complaining that intermittently they will lose the audio
connection. IP Comm phone still shows connected. IP Comm user can hear
caller on the far end, but far end can not hear IP Comm user. Sometimes
the IP Comm shows that it has lost connection with the CCM cluster, but
as soon as you end that call, it immediately reestablishes the
connection and you can place another call.

I know there is a lot that could effect the connection going over the
internet via our VPN tunnel. Are there any known issues or things we
can look at to try and make this better. I am about to install the IP
Comm for one of network guys to test with.

Thanks in advance.
