I finally got the chance to implement this last night. Upgraded the 3845
router to IOS 12.4(11)XW2. Then added the following commands to the
gateway.
1) voice service voip
     h323
      h225 display-ie ccm-compatible

2) under the interface SerialX/X/X:23 where X/X/X represents all ISDN
interefaces you want to enable this on

isdn supp-service name calling
shut
no shut
You can easily see the calling name being sent from the telco to the
gateway by debugging ISDN q931. This was done for a remote location but
the person on site confirmed what I was seeing in the debug appeared on
the phone.

Haven't tried it yet but we are planning to upgrade one location to
12.4(11)XW2 for this feature. If we do it sometime this week or next I
will let you know. If you do it before then please post your results.

Supposedly it is now supported in 12.4(11)XW

Does it work with CCM?
