I haven't seen any 12.4 mainline release marked as GD yet, it is currently up to 12.4(12). From what I've seen in past, a mainline release usually doesn't get up to GD status until it gets up to mid to higher teens, sometimes 20s depending on what is going on with the IOS, etc. (IE: 12.4(15) or higher). The early 12.4 mainline versions had issues (especially 12.4(3) flat). But even if something is marked GD doesn't make it golden or the IOS to use. You still need to test, etc and make sure it is going to work fine for your environment. There are issues that pop up , even in GD releases.

Hi All,
I'm pretty sure 12.4.3 was marked "General Deployment" a few weeks
ago. Re-listed as "Limited Deployment" now.... I don't think I've ever
seen that happen before. Anyone with more info why the latest GD is
12.3.21 again?
Cheers,
ML
