Lelio,

Are you including SEP in the device name in the IPC setup? ie
SEP123456789012.

Joe

OK, so I started from scratch. Now I get the same error on the phone
"Login Unsuccessful" with Error [11] appearing at the bottom. I looked
in the logs and see:

	7: Jan 11 16:06:07.454 EST %EM-3-UNK:0: LoginService: Dev:
SEP000CF1CD12CD- Error #11 - Policy Violation: Device does not exist:
Device does not exist

The "12CD" is the NIC's original ethernet address.

Am I trying to do something totally unsupported? Why would they have a
field allowing me to enter a device name?

I've now created a new IP communicator device and delete the
previous user profile and created a new one and assigned it to the user
id. Now the login is successful but the user profile doesn't seem to
apply to the phone. No DN appears, etc. The phone is logged in because
when I press the configured EM service URL button, it says "logout
lelio?".

	Wierd!

I'm trying to test out the functionality of locally
administered MAC addresses. When I change the MAC address of the device
in CallManager, I can no longer log in to Extension Mobility. It gives
me error 11. I can't see anywhere else where the MAC address is stored,
am I missing something? I'm going to drudge up the documentation to see
what step I might have missed, but in the mean time, any pointers would
be helpful.

		Thanks, Lelio
