[cisco-voip] Upgrade from CCM3.3 and CRS 3.1 to CCM5.1 and CRS 4.5

For 15 agents maybe it isn't quite worth it for you.

However if you have 2000 agents that can run into issues with every
new phone load, jtapi version, etc AND maybe you want to go to 5.x
but don't want to deal with IPCC upgrade issues, the idea is not
quite so ridiculous.

That's ridiculous.

Why would have them install a separate CCM cluster for a call center
with 15 agents?

I never thought I'd say this, but I'm seriously considering that IPCC
users be put on a seperate cluster. Upgrade the cluster only when
necessary. When we last talked to our Cisco team there seemed to be
no light at the end of the tunnel with respect to concurrent support
for previous versions of IPCC.

Curious...

I know I need to upgrade them to CCM4.1 before I can go to 5.1..

Do I need to go to IPCC 4.0 before 4.5, or can I go straight from
CRS3.1 to 4.5?

And is it really an upgrade or is it some disaster-fest, where I need
to rebuild the IPCC applications.
