[cisco-voip] 512+512 char limit for calling search space+CallManager 5.x

I had assumed it was a code problem with ccm.exe versus SQL.  I don't
think Microsoft limits a SQL column size to 1000 or so characters.....

 
I ran this problem by a Cisco TME and BU Product Management in 2001 and
they didn't seem to think it was high priority defect.  You would need
to push your Cisoc AM for the status of the PERS (Product Enhancement
Request)

I know this was fixed for the Route Filter limitation in 5.0.  Informix
does not have the same limitations that SQL had, so I would assume the
same for a Calling Search Space.  Really, there is only one way to find
out.

Does anyone know if the 512+512 character limit for a calling search
space was modified in CallManager 5.x? This was based on some SQL issue
I believe as it expanded the calling search space out to the actual
names of the partitions.
