[cisco-voip] Cisco IPICS

my 2 cents,

I went to part of the techtorial about it at networkers. Neat product, our
public safety office decided they didnt want to spend any money on it though
(hence I only ended up going to half the techtorial :) )

I think to really leverage it in a university town setting you'd need
cooperation from the local authorities (fire/police/911) and in our case our
campus police and facilities people.

Unfortunately for us, more and more I see things working out where everyone
wants control but no one will want to pay for it. It's a shame, I could see
alot of great uses for it just on football game days alone.
