This is because CTI is not partition aware (unless that has changed in 5.x, but then the applications would also need to support it), but there are other factors that could cause this to that others have mentioned.

the question marks will show up when you have the same number more then once, anywhere.   CTI can only support 1, thats 1 number  of any extention.   Don't matter how many partitions you have.  That will create the ??? on the Attendant console, will also cause havic tring to answer lines that have the same number.

For speed dials and the directory we just have the question-mark of doom...

How do we get presence to work?

I have tried all of the previous suggestions... setting the interface,

etc. No luck...

Call Control is up, the user is online... I have no idea why this doesn't work.
