Hi all
1. attendant console problem -
Sent a message to the group a while ago talking about the problems we
have with inbound calls from pstn when using q-ing on the attendant
consoles. After three weeks now with tac we could not solve the
problem - tried 2 of the engineering specials they supplied.
I now decided to put a work around in place - basically taking Q-ing
of. This causes another problem now - because the company have 6
attendants only and they do sometimes receive up to 24 or more
concurrent calls the people dialing in get a busy after the 7th call -
if one uses the ac user / line approach with one line for each of the
attendants. I then decided to give each phone 6 lines and in the
attendant hunt add them as ac1 line 1, ac2 line 1, ac3 line 1.... Ac6
line 1, and then start with ac1 line 2, ac2 line 2 etc.
Is there a better way to prevent people getting a busy while keeping
the ac user approach. They do not have any other overflow cover for
the attendant pilot point like voicemail or other numbers they want to
pass overflow calls to.
2. Today the customer was getting the following: Failed to transfer
the call due to internal error ......popping up regularly on attendant
PCs
Not sure what is causing this - I am not onsite so I trying to get log
files of attendant PCs etc to try and figure out what is going on.
It looks like we are going from bad to worse here - anyone have any
suggestions - fell free to comment
In previous 4-1-3 srxxx installations I had no problems with Q-ing and
also no problems with attendant at all.
