So, you're saying that you manually set the voice VLAN on each phone? Isn't
that a bit tedious?

Is there a way to do this automatically for any non-Cisco switch? I'm
looking for some method that is similar (or not - I don't really mind) to
the Avaya mechanism where the phone does DHCP on the native VLAN, picks up
the appropriate DHCP option telling it what VLAN to hop to and then moves to
the voice VLAN and starts with the DHCP again.

Alternately, is there a way to specify the voice VLAN in the config file for
the phone (CM5, BTW) and then it would just be a matter of putting option
150 into the DHCP scope on the native (data) VLAN.

Any ideas out there? TIA...
