[cisco-voip] Unity Connections 2.0 redundancy

UC only offers webmail access (or phone access of course), but you can
set up SMTP notification with a link to the webmail message.
Unity Connection was designed to fit a specific market, one aspect being
where redundancy is not necessary. If your customer needs redundancy,
Unity is your only choice. Most customers that I have dealt with do not
see voicemail as a critical component and very few go for redundant
voicemail.

UC doesn't have any form of integrated messaging - if the messages don't
appear in your inbox a fancy plugin won't do much good :)
I'm not sure if UC offers an equivalent to IMAP access (or Unity Inbox).
From my perspective it seems like UC was created for the purpose of the
new one-box small office appliance (callmanager 6 small business edition
or what-not), but then again, that's just my .02
