[cisco-voip] CUE upgrade fails...

AFAIK, restoring CUE from backup to newer version works fine. I've done it on regular basis without issue with recent versions.  If you have a good backup, it should take a hour or so or less if you have a NM-CUE and not an AIM-CUE. I've done this on AIM-CUEs countless times. You'll need FTP also and make sure you get all the files (it isn't just one file) and have the right license for what you bought.

So, I was wrong, Canada apparently has surrendered their soveriegnty to the US and will be changing too... 

 

Crap... I am going to have to blow this away and start over... anyone out there ever done this? It looks like I need to backup the CUE, do a clean install and then restore...

 

What are the issues related to restoring a backup to the CUE if it is a different version???
