The downside is that you may end up with a corrupted firmware download 
that turns your phone into a brick.  (It's happened to us)

There's a Service parameter for Cisco TFTP (in the advanced settings) 
for "Maximum Serving count".  You may want to adjust that up or down as 
you see fit.
