[cisco-voip] Update OS on Callmanager

Hi!

I want to update the OS on my callmanager. It is a HP Dl380 with
two disks (RAID 1+0). Before I make the update, I want to have
a backup of the current system, so my thought was to shutdown the
server, remove one disk from the array and boot the system.

After that I make the changes/updates on the system and if
everything works well, I would add the second disk again to
the raid and the controller will start the sync.
So far so good.

I tried this. I've got disk1 and disk2. When I remove
disk2 and poweron the system, then the bios doesn't find
anything which is bootable and tries a network boot.
When I put back the disk2 into the raid, then the server
find the win2k system, but I got the error, that
winnnt/system32/config/system is corrupt or missing,
try booting with cd and repair the system.

Whe shut down the sstem again and put only disk2 into
the system, then the server boots up normaly.
During the system is up I put disk1 into the
array and the server starts syncing.

Can someone tell me, why I can not boot from the
disk1 ? Is this normal ? The raid controller only
supports raid 0 and 1+0.
If you are in front of the DL380 then disk position is

Empty Empty disk2 cdrom
Empty Empty disk1 ----

Regards,
 Ahmad
