[cisco-voip] CallManager Upgrade issues

Most likely they cannot contact the database. Make sure HKLM\Software\Cisco
Systems, Inc.\DBL\DBConnection0 is pointing to the publisher (and to the
correct db). Also make sure the hosts and lmhosts files on the sub are
correct.

Look for any security warnings in the pub's event viewer.

Verify that the Cisco Database Layer Monitor service is running as SqlSvc on
that sub (not Local System). Double-check this on the pub to make sure 3.3
is supposed to have this service running as SqlSvc, I know 4.1 does.

Subject: [cisco-voip] CallManager Upgrade issues

Happily patching away for DST. Went from CCM 3.3(3)ES76 and OS 2000.2.7sr7.
Applied the following in order"

Apply OS 2000.4.4a
Apply OS 2000.4.4a(sr4)
Upgrade to 3.3(5)
Apply Dev Pack 75
Apply 3.3(5) DST Update

Publisher seems okay but one of my Subscribers won't proceed on the upgrade
due to a hostname issue and the other took the patches but now the following
services are unable to start:

CallManager
CTIManager
Cisco Voice Extended Functions
IP Voice Media Streaming App
RIS data collector

No errors in install logs.
Anyone else upgrading to 3.3(5) experience this or any ideas what is going
on?

Thanks,

Mike
