[cisco-voip] Third Gen Phone Load 8.0(4)sr2 deferral?

Can anyone elaborate?
I noticed on this doc:
http://www.cisco.com/en/US/products/hw/phones/ps379/products_field_notice09186a00807d3d9e.shtml
They have the following revision. "Removed reference to 8.0(4) SR2 and replaced with 8.0(4) SR3 and removed caveat below table in Workaround/Solution section."
The reason I want to know more specifics is because I have a large client that is running 8.0(4)sr2 and they are not having any DST issues that I know of. I am trying to determine if an upgrade is necessary. I would like to know why they changed the document to say SR3 instead of SR2.
Thanks,
Jeff

Probably because it's not DST compliant.

Does anyone know the reason why phone load 8.0(4)sr2 has been deferred?
