[cisco-voip] Monitoring IPCC Express / Enterprise components

ICM/IPCC Enterprise is relatively easy to monitor remotely. With both
4.6.x and 6.x on the HDS you can keep an eye on the
t_Peripheral_Real_Time table in the AWDB database. It has two fields
that are useful:
'Online' - 0 or 1, which indicates whether the peripheral is fully
functioning or not
'Status' - Numeric code from 0-127 (iirc) which have different meanings
depending on what type of peripheral you have.
The same table also can give you general statistical information (agents
logged in, calls in progress, calls handled today, etc...)
This is pulling status from the HDS database which is kept up to date in
real-time by the routers/loggers. Unavailability of the database as a
whole would indicate HDS problems, updates to this table not occuring
would indicate replication failures or potentially central controller
troubles, and specific peripherals can be watched one at a time. In the
specific case of a PG running a VRU PIM for example, the 'Status' codes
are either 0 (working fine), 33 (1 subsystem out of service), 66 (I
think, multiple subsystems out of service), or 127 (peripheral
completely offline)
