I don't have that model (we have 7970's) but are you on the default ring
tone or a specific line?

On ours the ringlist.xml did the default and the distinctiveringlist.xml
(in the tftppath directory) held the ones for the specific lines.  So I
edited both.

When I go to my 7940s and choose Settings then Ring Type, I only have 2
options (Chirp1 and Chirp2) I have added other RAW files (and there are
already a bunch in there) and have edited RingList.xml to add the new
ringtones.
I have stopped and started the TFTP service as well.  I still only have
access to 2 ringtones.

Am I missing something?
