you need to do nothing if the Provider is sending only the 4 digit number 1212 but if the provider is sending the whole number 5551212 you have to strip the 555 from the number in order to route to the phone... you can do that using translation pattern. but most commonly the provider will send u the 4 digits only, they do this here in Egypt I dont know what about yours.
Thanks and Best Regards

Yeah, my provider can port the number real easy.
My question is, what do I have to do in CCM or Unity to route 1212 as it comes in on the PRI to the proper phone??

On the outbound is easy, just change the mask on the DN.
On the inbound you must engage your provider to have them port the number to the pri

I have a 2801 with 2 POTS lines. (let's say 555-1212 and 555-1313)
1212 is the main line for this building, so we are not getting Caller ID.
What's the easier solution? Map 555-1212 to the PRI and somehow tell CCM where to route it,
or reconfigure the 2801 to do Caller ID?
I actually prefer to move 1212 to the PRI, but wouldn't know where to start (other than to call my phone company and tell them to do it)!
