Is anyone out there using ethernet extenders that support 802.1q to support a phone and pc?

Care to share some experiences?

We're looking at providing service to some outlying areas and our option is an analog phone -or- an ethernet extender. The cost of the few extenders we would have to purchase would likely outweigh the cost of the one vg224 we would have to buy, so cost at this point is not an issue - especially because of the extra service, i.e. data. These users would have had to use dialup over the analog line for their data. yuck.
