Is anyone handling SS7 (56K DDS links) in a Cisco VoIP environment at
the network edge?
I would like to know what equipment is successfully being used in the field.
I searched on the Cisco website, but I am having trouble narrowing down
a specific application to handle call setup using SS7.
I will use 5350XM units to terminate the trunking, and a 7613 at the
network core.
So far, I believe I will need 2 SLTs to physically connect the SS7 links.
From there I am kinda lost...
I found that the docs point toward "Cisco SS7 Interconnect for Access
Servers Solution 2.2", using an SC2200. Is this the same as a PGW2200???
Any ideas would be welcome!
Thanks,
Dan Lacey
