[cisco-voip] cisco-voip Digest, Vol 51, Issue 58

Thanks for all the suggestions. Unfortunately, none of them have worked. Some comments:
a.. I do not have any dns entries, however, I did not have any before during my testing so I'm not sure that's it.
b.. As far as the MGCP commands are concerned, I'm pretty sure I only had the first MGCP command as the first, and the rest were downloaded via the callmanager download.
c.. As far as the device pools are concerned, again, I'm pretty sure they were not the same during the testing and all worked ok.
d.. I tried the network-clock-participate commands, still no go.
I had a previous router/gateway with the same IP address configured, so that might be causing problems. Tomorrow I will delete it and all it's dependancies and try again.
If that doesn't work, it's TAC time.

Right, I don't see the call agent information and in CallManager make sure you are matching the device name up with the MGCP Domain Name in a "show ccm-manager".
Try this:
ccm-manager fallback-mgcp
ccm-manager redundant-host 10.104.21.109
ccm-manager mgcp
ccm-manager music-on-hold
ccm-manager config server 10.104.21.109
ccm-manager config
!
mgcp
mgcp call-agent 10.104.21.110 2427 service-type mgcp version 0.1
mgcp bind control source-interface GigabitEthernet0/0.826 or 725
mgcp bind media source-interface GigabitEthernet0/0.826 or 725
I am not sure which sub-interface is the voice vlan and I am assuming 10.104.21.109 is the Publisher so you might have chosen 110 as the Sub.

I don't see any of the MGCP commands in the config but I can't tell
whether they are missing or just cut off in your email.

so i can't seem to ge this new 3845 gateway to register to my publisher.
i can ping both ways (pub <-> gw) so communications is there. i must be
missing some configuration command, but can seem to get it. i made sure
to:
* enable routing
* make the description of the gateway equal the domain on the
router
* add the ccm-manager config statement
is there an mgcp command that i'm missing? config and show ccm-manager
follows
grrrrrr
