[cisco-voip] unable to here prompts on ipccx

for some reason when i call one of my triggers for ipccx, from an internal ip phone, Im not able to hear the prompts.  now the call is going thru the scripts from top to bottom. and all the options are working there.  but just no audio.  Now this may have something to do with the fact that the ipccx server is at a colo.  Could i be having a codec issue
