[cisco-voip] "CM down, features disabled" Message

I just had this problem...... I had a switch that the Gig port was going
up/up .... Up/down.... Up/ Up........

 

Had to RMA the switch and all is working now.

Define "down"....

Seriously, I have seen a network hiccup cause this and the only people
who got this message were those who had an active call up (the other
phones reset so fast no one noticed).
