Have you tried configuring the avaya phone as an H323 client in CCM?
When you add a new phone, there is an option for H323 client.

Just think, when you upgrade to 5.x, in addition to the $115 for ipblue
you will have to buy either three (basic) or six (advanced) DLU's as
well ($150-$300).

Subject: [cisco-voip] PDA or 3rd Party Phone with CM 4.2

Hello all;

A customer is asking us to run Avaya H323 phone and a PDA with
callmanager 4.2, for the PDA I found a software that runs SCCP on the
PDA www.ipblue.com <http://www.ipblue.com/>  but the licensee is 115 $
for each PDA (which is very costly for the customer) and for Avaya I
don't know how to install it with the system and if this is available or
not, anyone has information about this??
