Hello,
Does anyone know details of how Call Manager handles a request to turn
MWI Off from Unity?
I have a situation where the client is using Time Of Day routing, and
we have 2 Voicemail ports reserved for MWI dial out. The Calling
Search Space just on these 2 voice mail ports does not include the
time of day partitions.
However, we have MWI fail now and then. I was able to capture a
failure in the CCM Detailed traces today.
What I am seeing, is the call from the unity to the MWI OFF DN with
the correct Search Space (pss) in the trace. The traces show the
phones extension calling the MWI Off DN, then after that entry I see a
blank calling party Number calling voicemail with the wrong search
space that includes the time of day partition. Then below that it
tries to set MWI for the DN in the time of day partition instead of
the partiton the MWI CSS is set for on the voice mail port. I do not
understand how the other partition is coming into play when the
voicemail port CSS does not have it in it's search space.
So, I am thinking that a search space needs to be adjusted somewhere
else but the phones need the search space that includes the time of
day partition.
