[cisco-voip] Installing BARS after everything

[Cucumber Green]

I have a couple of CRS servers and Call Managers in several clusters that do not have BARS installed. So I can not really properly back them up. I was reading this doc prior to even try installing BARS on them , but then I came across this note:
   
  "Cisco strongly recommends that you install BARS before you install the supported Cisco IP telephony application." 
   
  Does this means I am screwed? Have anyone installed BARS after having a working CRS or CM?
