Download the .zip file with the load files from CCO then set up a Local
TFTP server (Either IOS or PC/Server) with those unzipped files. Point
each phone to the local tftp IP address and define the specific load
name and then reset each phone.

Subject: [cisco-voip] Load server

Hello all,

I am having issues with 7961s upgrading firmware over the WAN. I
believe this has to do with tftp errors during the download process.

I have heard mention of a way to offload the firmware download to a
local "load server". I can't find any docs explaining how to accomplish
this.

Anyone on the list have a link or experience with this?

Thanks in advance,

Toby
