I use a 3rd party product by Syn-Apps called “phones inventory.”  Works 
well.

You can also use the Bulk Administration Tool, it generates reports in 
text format.
 
For phones, open the Bulk Administration Tool (Application->BAT)
then go to Configure->Phones->Generate Phones Report
 
This tool has a very neat query designer, you can add conditions to the 
query
at will using buttons instead of having to figure out how the query goes.
 
I.e. This is what I use to get a complete report of phones in my net
 
Model begins with 'Analog Phone' OR Model begins with 'Cisco 7911' OR 
Model begins with 'Cisco 7960' OR Model begins with 'Cisco IP 
Communicator'
