[cisco-voip] tracing a call

Can you see these calls in the CDR database? Do you see the number
for the calling party? MCID isn't really going to help. Unless your
Telco honors MCID, it isn't going to get you anywhere - and I believe
MCID is only supported with certain PRI protocols.
What I would do is have your student call the local police department
and file a police report for harassment. With a police report your
Telco will play nice and help you track down this issue. Since it is
happening in the middle of the night, hopefully traffic is low and you
can easily identify the caller.
