Getting a bunch of DCOM errors on the publisher, and I have looked up
various ways in which to resolve it and what the problem might be.
However, one thing I noticed that is kind of odd is that the error
lists the subscribers name wrong? Notice it has added the "IS~" in
front of the name.
I found this on Cisco's site:
http://www.cisco.com/en/US/products/sw/voicesw/ps556/products_tech_note09186a008073f582.shtml
I don't have any of the UDP or IPX protocols listed so thats not the
problem. The LMHOSTS files are fine but they don't list a name that
includes "IS~" which makes me think thats the problem. They shouldn't
list it, it should use the correct name right?
Any thoughts?
