[cisco-voip] "Number Not Configured" when AbbrDial pressed

CCM 4.1(3)sr3b

I setup IP phone services for a user and now when I
try to use fastdials, it tells me "Number Not
Configured" when I use the AbbrDial softkey as if I
never configured a phone number for the fastdial
entry. How do I fix this? Any hints most appreciated.
