[cisco-voip] UCM 6.x and SIP Trunking to Altigen PBX

If the Altigen is sending a SIP Register then it probably needs to be  
configured as a SIP endpoint rather than a SIP trunk.  A SIP trunk  
doesn't need to register so it would just send the Invite.

I have a SIP Trunk configured in CCM and have the SIP Digest  
Authentication setupas well. Basically what we are experiencing is  
the Altigen is sending Register messages to CCM like a sip phone  
would. However, CCM is expecting an Invite message.

Cisco says the Altigen is misconfigured and my client who is versed  
in the Altigen says its setup correctly. I suspect that the Altigen  
is missing some config, but have no experience with it.

Anyone have any experience or ideas with this?
