I do have a TAC case open with traces submitted so I am waiting for
feedback on that. I figured I would check here to make sure it was set
up correctly.

That looks correct. You'll need to look at the CCM traces to make sure
it's trying to invoke the transcoder and to see why it is failing.

I am having an issue getting calls from a G.729 region (remote site) to
work with a CRS 3.52 server that is running G.711. I know a transcoder
is needed to make this work but it seems that the transcoder in not
being invoked even though it's in the MRG and MRL of the CTI ports and
is showing registered in CM.
Setup is as follows:
Site A - remote site (region A)
Site B - central site (Region B)
IOS Enhanced transcoder (Region C)
Region A < -- >B - G.729
Region A < --> region C - G.729
Region C < -- > B - G.711
Am I missing something?
