I know it's not a real simple implementation, but have you looked at the
service monitoring built in to RTMT? It can do SNMP Trap Out, SMTP on
failures, etc.
Not real sexy with graphs and such, but a good real time status monitor
(thus the name).

Subject: [cisco-voip] 24x7 Monitoring
We are currently paying AT&T to monitor our voice servers. Next year we
plan on upgrading our voice system to 6.1 or 7. Unfortunately, AT&T
does not yet have a solution for monitoring past CM 4.2. Does anyone
else use any sort of after hours monitoring services that could simply
let someone know if servers or equipment are up or down?
Thanks for the input.
