Hi David,
CM4 doesn't track the licenses, so you are basically on your honor to buy
the correct amount. You'll have to look back at your original order to see
how many licenses were ordered. I don't think you ever actually get anything
physical to represent your license purchase either for that CM version.. at
least I never did when I ordered them for CM4.
I believe the CH1 part numbers are the phone + license bundled, but you can
also order the license separately if needed. if you are replacing a phone
that you already have a license for, you just need to order the phone.
that's what the spare model is for. Your local cisco account manager should
be able to find out what parts you need to order.
For unity, that is the number of subscriber mailboxes and it is tracked so
you cannot go over it. If you need more mailboxes, you need to buy an
upgrade license and load it onto the server.
The DLU spreadsheet TAC sent you is probably for CM version 5 and up, those
versions actually track licensing.
