[cisco-voip] telco-side PRI channel hunting problem/question

I have two PRI circuits coming into a 3845 box each.
The old public number for both of these offices were
somehow missed in the PRI order and were not ported
over to the circuit.

Now the proposed solution is to point the old public
numbers to the hunt pilots of these new PRI circuits.
These are both CCME 4.1 installations and when 2+
calls are made to these old main numbers, the caller
encounters a busy signal. 

Shouldn't the telco be able to force any calls to the
new main numbers of these PRI circuits, to which the
old public numbers point, to hunt from channel to
channel instead of giving callers a busy?

Frustrated and not knowledgeable enough about the
Telco side of things. . .
