[cisco-voip] life of 3845?

this list always seems to have a good number of ears to the ground....anyone hear of any plans to replace the 3845?

i'm proposing a plan that will see some significant dollars invested into this platform and want to make sure it's not EOL'ed the day after we spend the money.
