[cisco-voip] CUCM 6.x and TAPS

Our configuration engineers are most often not on-site. The local field
staff that installed the equipment don't have laptops that can be left
behind. If we went the portable laptop route we'd have to stage/ship
them with the rest of the equipment and then return/refresh them for the
next project.
Our management has concerns over ongoing support and the possibility of
TAC calling it unsupported even though they use VMWare everyday for
their systems. Any thoughts on this?

What we have done is install CRS on VMWare on engineer's laptops, and
then use TAPS that way with CCM 5 and 6...
That way the cust doesn't have to build another server for what will
be a temporary use...
