[cisco-voip] When is the database updated during a 6.1 upgrade?

  Short version is I have a customer who had an issue with the iso they
burned for a 6.1 upgrade and by the time the finished, they were past
the maintenance window.  So they rescheduled the reboot action until
last night.

Problem is all the changes made since the upgrade was installed 3 days
ago were lost.  So was that what is expected to happen?  I thought the
database was on a common partition.  If we revert to the inactive
partition will the lost changes be restored?  In this case it will be
quicker for me to help them make the changes again.  I'm just curious..
